Hello again, Stony Lakers!

Your new account is ready to set up on CourtReserve, SLYC’s web-based court reservation and membership activity system.

As we told you last week, we're rolling out our new system in four phases:

  • SLYC membership registration opens (starting April 22)
  • Sailing registration opens (starting April 29, with Parents' Night Zoom calls to prep you on April 26, 27 @ 7:00 PM ET; call details will be sent to you shortly)
  • Tennis and pickleball booking opens (May 13)
  • Tennis and pickleball program registration opens (June 26)

Follow the instructions below to set up your account and accounts for your family members.

Here's a quick "how to":

A. Set up your account and purchase your 2023 SLYC membership:

  1. Click here to access the account creation form
  2. Enter your information (the email you enter will be your user name for the system)
  3. Select your membership type
  4. Enter your payment information and pay for your membership

B. Your Payment Profile now needs to be set up:

  1. Click on your name
  2. Choose "Payment Profiles"
  3. Enter your your payment details, which will be saved in the system for faster and easier registrations

C. Now you can set up your Family in the system:

  1. Click on your name
  2. Choose "My Family" to set up accounts for each of your family members
 
Setting up a family? Please have only one family member set up and input all other family members. This will ensure that your accounts are connected. Children do not need an email if they will not be logging into the system.

SIMPLIFIED FEE STRUCTURE

As we communicated in our April 15 newsletter, the Board has approved a simplified structure based on individuals using the club. You’ll be able to register your individual family members as usual; the difference is that a fee will be charged for each person as opposed to one fee for the group.

Cost-wise compared to last year, for example, single-parent families with one or two children will see a reduction in fees, while two-parent families with two or three children will see a modest increase.

We're also introducing a Social membership for adults who don’t participate in sailing, tennis or pickleball. Social members will be able to register their children for activities, participate in social events and enter Weekend Races.

And for young adults under 30, we're offering a reduced fee to encourage their continued connection with the club.
