What to Read Next

Staff Picks

Mexican Gothic by Sylvia Moreno-Garcia

If you love Wuthering Heights, The Yellow Wallpaper and other classics, you'll love this reimagining of the Gothic horror genre done by a writer who clearly loves it just as much as we do.

Children's Room Shoutout: Gia

Madeline Finn and the Library Dog by Lisa Papp

A special story for kids who struggle to read. It often makes me a bit emotional by the end!

Did you know?

Great news from our partners at the National Digital Equity Association!

"You asked for it and we listened! Just in time for National Digital Inclusion Week, NDEC has converted our entire catalog of digital skills classes into easy-to-use on-demand (video) self-paced classes. You can now take our digital skills classes at your own pace in the privacy of your own home.

Since the start of the pandemic, NDEC has offered online, live Zoom classes and has worked with organizations throughout Maine and the country to hold classes in-person that are in small group settings. However, we've repeatedly heard from people that know they need to improve their digital skills but have been unable to attend the class dates and times due to work, school, or other commitments.

NDEC's Digital Skills classes are now designed to assist people with getting the digital skills they need when they need them."

To see the full class catalog, please click on the link below.

If you need additional help navigating NDEC's resource catalog please ask a reference librarian! We are more than happy to help.
