New: Parent Canvas Account
Parents can set up a Canvas account to observe their student’s grades, view due dates, receive communication from teachers, and set notification preferences.

Parents setting Up a Parent Canvas Account...
  1. Using a computer web browser, go to Xavier.Instructure.com.
  2. Click on the link labeled “Parent of a Canvas User? Click Here For an Account.” 
  3. Fill out your name and email, choose a password, enter the pairing code (generated by your student in their Canvas app - view instructions) and check the box to agree to the terms. 
  4. Open your email to complete the account registration.

New: Students Returning to School After COVID
Students who have been diagnosed with COVID will be expected to isolate and return masked according to CDC Guidelines. Parents can expect a phone call from the nurse to confirm dates and protocols for returning. Those students who do not mask up when they return to school, or meet criteria to not mask, will be asked to leave and return when their 10 days are done.

New: Help Needed - Foundation Volunteers
The Foundation Office is gearing up for another great Xavier Impact Fund - Parish Appeal season. The appeal will be held Saturday, October 9 – Sunday, October 10 and Saturday, October 15 – Sunday, October 16. 

New this year is that all money raised will go to benefit our Xavier Catholic School TEACHERS!

We are still looking for a few great leaders in the following parishes to help with the campaign:

  • All Saints 
  • Immaculate Conception/St. Wenceslaus
  • St. Elizabeth Ann Seton
  • St. John XXIII
  • St. Jude
  • St. Ludmila
  • St. Pius X

New: Senior Mock Interviews - Parent Volunteers Needed
We are seeking parent and alumni volunteers to assist with mock interviews for our Xavier seniors. These interviews are planned for September 28 & 29 during the school day.

Reminder: Dress Code Reminder
We are seeing an increase in students wearing "cargo" style pants. This style of pants is not allowed in our current dress code.

  • Cargo pants are defined as having a large external pocket on the leg of the pants.

Reminder: XCEED Conference
On Monday, September 26, we will be hosting our XCEED conference here at Xavier. XCEED is an incredible day of faith, friends, and fun! We will have a few Keynote speakers (beatboxing + comedy how can you go wrong?!) and over 30 small group impact sessions. Lunch will be provided and it will be a SPIRIT DAY! 
 
Students will register for impact sessions Monday, September 12 during house time. Please take a few minutes to read through the different XCEED sessions that will be offered so that you can sign up for the session you want on Monday when registration opens. It is first come, first served on sessions, with priority going to upperclassmen. We are looking forward to an awesome day!

Reminder: Custodian Opening
Xavier High School seeks a full-time custodian to perform manual and custodial work.

Summer Hours: 
7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
School Year Hours: 
3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m. or 10:30 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.

Previous experience in custodian/maintenance work is preferred.
