From a Moncton Start-Up to a National Brand: PropertyGuys.com Founders Inducted into Futurpreneur Founders Hall of Fame

Ken LeBlanc and Jeremy Demont recognized among Futurpreneur’s inaugural Hall of Fame class celebrating Canadian entrepreneurial success

MONCTON, N.B. — November 4, 2026 — PropertyGuys.com co-founders Ken LeBlanc and Jeremy Demont have been inducted into Futurpreneur Canada’s inaugural Founders Hall of Fame, joining the founders behind some of Canada’s most recognized entrepreneurial success stories, including Knix, Mejuri, Skip (SkipTheDishes), Elastic Path, PixMob and gaiia.

The Hall of Fame was announced during Futurpreneur’s 30th anniversary celebration at Toronto’s MaRS Centre and recognizes entrepreneurs whose businesses began with Futurpreneur financing and mentorship and went on to become significant Canadian success stories.

For PropertyGuys.com, the recognition brings the journey full circle.

LeBlanc and Demont received support from Futurpreneur in 1999, approximately one year after PropertyGuys.com was founded in Moncton in 1998, when the company was still a young startup with a bold idea to give consumers a different way to buy and sell real estate.

“Futurpreneur believed in two young entrepreneurs at a time when what we really had was a dream, a lot of determination and a belief that consumers deserved a better way to buy and sell real estate,” said Ken LeBlanc, Co-Founder & CEO of PropertyGuys.com. “They didn’t just look at where we were. They believed in where we thought we could go. Nearly three decades later, to be recognized alongside some of Canada’s most successful entrepreneurial brands is incredibly humbling.”

Demont says Futurpreneur’s support came at a critical stage in the company’s early growth. “When you’re starting a small business in Moncton with an idea that challenges an established industry, validation matters,” said Jeremy Demont, Co-Founder of PropertyGuys.com. “Futurpreneur gave us that validation, mentorship and an important injection of capital at a point when every dollar mattered. More importantly, they gave us confidence that our vision was worth pursuing.”

Today, PropertyGuys.com has grown into an innovative Canadian real estate platform serving private-sale and full-service residential real estate buyers and sellers through its national franchise network and PG Direct Realty Ltd.

Futurpreneur CEO Karen Greve Young says stories like PropertyGuys.com demonstrate the long-term impact of supporting young entrepreneurs.

“Entrepreneurs play a critical role in building Canada’s future. They creates jobs, drive innovation and strengthen communities,” said Karen Greve Young, CEO of Futurpreneur. “PropertyGuys.com is a wonderful example of what can happen when young entrepreneurs are given the support, mentorship and early capital they need to pursue an ambitious idea. What makes their story even more meaningful is seeing entrepreneurs like Ken LeBlanc and Jeremy Demont come full circle — from young founders we supported to business leaders, board members and mentors who are now opening doors for the next generation.”

For LeBlanc and Demont, that full-circle journey is what makes the recognition especially meaningful. “Someone believed in us when we were young entrepreneurs trying to turn an idea into a business,” said LeBlanc. “Now we have the opportunity to help do the same for the next generation. That may be the most important part of this recognition.”
