CCLR joins DTSC for a tour of Bay Area ECRG Project Sites

On June 29, CCLR assisted with a brownfield tour of three ECRG-funded projects in the San Francisco Bay Area with DTSC’s Legislative Affairs Office (LAO). Grantees educated the LAO about the work they are doing to reclaim abandoned and contaminated places for community benefit.

Oakland Unified School District shared how it is developing sustainable food systems and exploring phytoremediation (left), Central Assembly of Richmond shared its dreams to create a new walkable live/work community in El Sobrante (middle), and Pittsburg, CA shared how complex remediation is leading to redevelopment opportunities (right).
