New survey deadline  and link!
Learn more -- on  many topics -- on today's call!

WILPF Members,

On November 12, the responses to our Program 2.0 survey were high enough that we had to open a new survey link, in order to continue to tabulate your anonymous responses. This is good news in terms of your responsiveness on this survey, but it's troublesome for you who still want to respond, especially since we've extended the survey deadline to November 16.

We extended the survey deadline, because today's ONE WILPF call offers an opportunity for member questions and discussion of Program 2.0, on our WILPF ballot items, and much more.

Please join us the Thursday call. And, since we have changed the functioning link for the survey, if you have not yet taken the survey, please see the new SURVEY information below.

ONE WILPF Call Thursday, November 14, Provides Diverse Info for Members
This month's ONE WILPF call is a chance for you to get answers to your questions about the Program 2.0 proposal. Additionally, the call will offer other opportunities to better understand numerous WILPF US matters:
  1. You can ask questions of candidates for the Board.

  2. Learn about the new ad hoc national WILPF US committees and the ways that you can support or participate in them. These new committees include the following ones:
    - Bylaws Committee
    - Social Media Committee
    - Communications Committee
    - Member Skills Development Committee

  3. Find out why you should consider participating in our Local to Global program, in the annual UN Commission on the Status of Women, in New York City next March.

  4. Hear and inquire about the proposed amendments to WILPF US Bylaws on our current national ballot.
I hope you'll call in to the ONE WILPF Call today. For more information, see the eAlert sent on Armistice Day, November 11: "Next ONE WILPF Call: Thurs., Nov. 14". (You can always find past eAlerts here.)

SURVEY:   Your Opinions & Comments Still Wanted: New Link, New Deadline of November 16!
As I mentioned above, we have a new link to the survey. The old one no longer works. Because we'll be talking further about the new Program 2.0 proposal on the ONE WILPF call today, we're extending the survey deadline. The new deadline is through Saturday, November 16.

Please take the survey only once. If you have not yet taken our special all-member online survey on the new Program 2.0 proposal, use the NEW link below.  (The survey, itself, is unchanged.)

(Please do not complete the survey a second time. However, on November 12, did you comment  i n either of the last two items on the original survey? If so, please go ahead and use this link to repeat your comments.)

Remember, the survey is anonymous! If you wish a personal response, include your contact information in your comments!

Use the New Link if You've Not Yet Taken the Survey
If you have any interest in how WILPF US takes action on issues -- an interest in our "program work" -- we want to get your opinions on Program 2.0! There are only three questions in the survey; the other two numbered items are for optional comments.

To express an informed opinion, please read this two-page Program 2.0 summary about what what the Program 2.0 proposal does and how it was put together.

After reading about the 2.0 proposal,  those who have not yet taken the survey may  go to the survey via this NEW LINK .

Program 2.0 Is Designed to Make Our Work More Effective

Under this proposal the Program Committee sets integrated and interconnected priorities, identifying broad themes for US program work. Member and branch input will go to shape the national Program Committee priorities and goals. Our issue committees will develop activities and projects in alignment.

Of course, our activities and projects will be most effective when many branches and members find ways to act on them.

In 2020, our WILPF US actions can influence the future direction of our country!
