This year is already flying by, and we’ve had the pleasure of celebrating so many exciting boat deliveries with our customers. With longer days and warmer weather on the horizon, we’re looking forward to all the adventures still to come—both for our team and for you.

Celebrating Our Team at the Ballpark

Earlier this month, the entire Bellingham Yachts crew took a well-deserved break to enjoy a day at the Mariners game in Seattle! We took a shuttle down together, spent the afternoon at the ballpark, and made the most of the time away from the docks—even if the Mariners didn’t come out on top.

For a few of our team members, it was their very first Major League Baseball game, which made the day even more memorable. More importantly, it was a great opportunity to connect outside of work, strengthen our teamwork, and return recharged and ready to serve our customers even better.

We’re proud of the hard work our crew puts in every day, and it was great to take a moment to celebrate that.

With so many incredible places to explore in the San Juan and Gulf Islands, it’s hard to pick just one must-see spot—but our team has a few favorites up their sleeves.

This month, we’re highlighting Westcott Bay Shellfish Co., just outside Roche Harbor. Matt, Heather, and their family—who recently made a stop there with Sam Bisset from Fluid Motion and his family—love it. With ultra-fresh oysters, clams, and farm-to-fork options, this laid-back spot is a quintessential PNW experience.

Get Summer Ready—Book Your Service Appointment Toady!

Summer cruising is here—and now’s the time to make sure your boat is ready for the season! We’re seeing a lot of early shakedown appointments and engine services right now, so if you’re planning any work, be sure to schedule ahead. While we try to accommodate where we can, we’re typically booking a couple of weeks out.

And a quick reminder: if BYS Everett is more convenient for you, we’re seeing increased service activity there as well. While some jobs are better suited to our Bellingham shop, we can handle quite a bit on-site.

The annual display launches at 10:30 PM on Friday, July 4th, offering a spectacular light show right over the water.

Everett's Thunder on the Bay Fireworks

The waterfront is the closest you can get to the fireworks in this display, and the show kicks off around 10:00 PM over Port Gardner Bay..
