Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ:

Our 25 pilgrims returned Sunday evening from our Year of St. Francis pilgrimage to Mission San Juan Bautista and Mission Carmel. It was a grace-filled experience that reminded us that our faith always connects us to the wider Church.

This weekend, we celebrate that same spirit of solidarity through our Annual Mission Cooperative Appeal.

We are pleased to welcome Deacons Joe Domond and Omar Uriarte of the Jeff Cherubin Domond Foundation. Founded by Deacon Joe and Rita Domond in memory of their son, Jeff, the Foundation serves some of the poorest communities in Haiti through a Catholic school, a hospital, a dialysis clinic, and ongoing medical missions. Amid Haiti's deep poverty and continuing violence, their work brings hope, healing, and the love of Christ to thousands of people.

This is the Hour for Love campaign helps Catholic schools afford supplies, ensures parishes can continue serving their communities, and supports programs that bring faith to those who need it most.
