The Skyra Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, was founded to ensure all young artists have the opportunity to participate in arts education and performance. We are excited that The Nutcracker will be our first production produced by The Skyra Foundation.

The Skyra Foundation, created by Scott & Mary Poiley, is committed to broadening performing arts awareness while advocating education and high standards of excellence in the arts. Skyra is dedicated to investing in the next generation of dancers, actors, filmmakers, and artists by offering scholarships for continuing education and platforms to showcase their works.

The Skyra Foundation believes in donating equally to all dancers, filmmakers, actors, and artists. The arts elevate our culture by reflecting the creative voice of our increasingly diverse communities. The Skyra Foundation wants to help young creative innovators in visual and performing arts struggling to have their artistic voices heard.

On top of Skyra’s commitment to these budding artists, the foundation will promote the arts by funding original films, videos, and stage productions that are open to the entire community, whether they attend Skyra Studios or not. We hope to keep the arts alive by inspiring our audiences, both young and old, with the diverse expressions that represent our communities.
