Mississauga, ON – Due to the ongoing restrictions for live events the CGSA announced that they will be cancelling the 2020 Fall Field Day scheduled for September 15 ^th at Beacon Hall Golf Course in Aurora, ON. 

The Board of Directors and staff have been closely monitoring the situation with respect to the COVID-19 virus. The current restrictions for gatherings forced the difficult decision to cancel the event. “There is so much unknown at the moment with regards to hosting an event and at this time the Board of Directors felt it is in our best interest to cancel and set our sights on the 2021 Fall Field Day,” said CGSA President, Darren Kalyniuk. “We need to have adequate time to promote and plan this event. Given the current world situation we felt we could not give the attendees, sponsors and staff enough time to maintain our high standards with our events given the number of uncertainties with the virus.”

CGSA had not yet opened registration for the 2020 Fall Field Day. Discussions are currently underway looking toward the 2021 event.
