Tomorrow is your last day! Don’t miss your chance to be part of the second cohort of the Texas Health Impact Cohort (THICohort), powered by the Positive Action AMP program from ViiV Healthcare and led by the Texas Pride Community Foundation (TPCF).
This 3-year funded cohort program builds on the success of our first THICohort, which will conclude later this year. Over its first two years, the inaugural cohort reached more than 38,000 people living with and vulnerable to HIV, along with their families and loved ones. By the end of this year, that number is expected to grow to over 60,000 individuals.
The THICohort focuses on three key areas:
- Networking
- Linkage & Engagement
- Advocacy
Through these efforts, the program works to educate the community about HIV, reduce stigma, and connect individuals to HIV-related care and prevention methods. THICohort also encourages innovative (new or existing) approaches to outreach beyond traditional clinical settings, including arts and culture, community events, and educational initiatives.
These strategies have strengthened collaboration, increased access to and trust in care, and amplified the voices of those living with or vulnerable to HIV across Texas.
Who Should Apply
This 3-year cohort opportunity is geared toward non-providers and organizations that do not offer testing or other HIV-related clinical care. We understand that some individuals doing outreach may work within provider settings, and we encourage them to share this opportunity with local grassroots organizations engaged in community-centered HIV work aligned with the THICohort focus areas.
