Pipeline Insider: Built To Perform, Engineered To Last.

Our Robust Design and Testing Program Ensures Equipment Reliability

Ensuring Reliability: The Robust Design and Testing of Our Pipeline Inspection Equipment

In the demanding world of pipeline inspection, equipment reliability is an absolute necessity. Downtime caused by unreliable tools can delay projects, inflate costs, and compromise the success of critical inspections. That's why we've made equipment reliability a top priority through a rigorous design and testing program that ensures our products meet the highest standards of performance and durability.

Built to Perform: The Foundation of Our Robust Design

The development of our pipeline inspection equipment starts with one clear goal: creating tools that withstand the toughest environments while delivering consistent, high-quality results. Every piece of equipment is designed with the following key principles in mind:

  • Durability: Our products are engineered to endure harsh pipeline environments, including water, debris, and challenging terrain. We select the highest quality materials and components to resist wear and tear, ensuring equipment longevity.
  • Precision: Reliable pipeline inspection depends on clear, accurate results. From HD cameras to advanced control systems, every component is designed to maintain exceptional performance under extreme conditions.
  • Adaptability: Pipelines come in all shapes, sizes, and conditions. Our equipment features versatile configurations, allowing operators to adapt to diverse inspection conditions without compromising on efficiency.
  • Advanced Simulation Modeling: We have expanded our analytical modeling capabilities for simulating designs in the virtual world, enabling us to more quickly iterate to more optimal real-world solutions.

Testing That Exceeds Industry Standards

A robust design is only as good as the testing behind it. Before our equipment reaches your hands, it undergoes a comprehensive testing process to validate its reliability and performance.

Environmental Stress Testing

We simulate the most extreme conditions our products might face in the field. Most recently, we implemented a new rigorous and thorough testing process to validate the design and robustness of each of our new products before they go into production.

Our CUES TERRARIUM is one of these new tests. It is an accelerated LIFE TEST, designed to simulate the expected lifetime of a product based on its expected usage. For our new OZ4-HD and OZIII-S Cameras, this means continuous operation of the cameras plus all lights and motors while undergoing constant water spray with shock and vibration loading for OVER 1,000 HOURS.

Additional tests that we do to ensure product durability and performance include:

  • Our new environmental cycling chamber provides another accelerated life test capability that allows us to simulate many years of temperature and humidity cycles to ensure our equipment performs optimally in the most demanding environments.
  • Comprehensive functional testing on all equipment, including periodic burn-in testing of cameras and transporters, to identify and address any potential early-life performance issues.
  • Thorough leak tests on all equipment designed for pipeline inspections to ensure reliability and performance in the field.
  • Continuity checks and functional testing on all our integrated cables to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Proven Reliability. Trusted Performance.

Our robust design and testing program sets us apart, ensuring that our pipeline inspection equipment is ready to perform when you need it most. Whether you're inspecting municipal lines, industrial pipelines, or critical infrastructure, you can count on our tools to deliver unmatched reliability and results.
