September 2026 l Volume 17

On October 6, 2026, InfoSight360's Director of Regulatory Compliance Counsel, Michael Christians, will lead a virtual Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) Training session from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. ET. This comprehensive program walks participants through the mortgage lending process and provides the knowledge needed to originate mortgage loans in compliance with applicable federal regulations.

Section 1026.36 of Regulation Z requires loan originators to receive periodic training on federal and state laws applicable to their loan origination activities. This training is designed to help satisfy that requirement by covering key compliance obligations throughout the entire mortgage lending lifecycle.

At just $199 per attendee, this training offers exceptional value for credit unions looking to meet regulatory training requirements while enhancing their mortgage lending expertise.

For additional details and registration information, visit the Mortgage Loan Originator Training page on the InfoSight360 website.

Managing compliance doesn't have to be complicated. InfoSight360 includes powerful tools designed to help you save time, stay organized, and work more efficiently. Whether you're reviewing policies, collaborating with team members, or tracking important deadlines, small changes in how you use the platform can make a big difference. Here are five simple ways to get more value from InfoSight360 and streamline your compliance management efforts.

  1. Turn on News Article (and Content Update) Notifications: Never miss another important article posted in our News & Announcements area or content updates in InfoSight, CU PolicyPro and RecoveryPro! Subscribe to receive notifications when new content is posted or updated by subscribing under your account settings.

  2. Use the Comparison Feature: Compare your customized content with our Model content for a quick and easy way to see what is different and what you may need to adopt for your credit union. No second guessing or going back and forth, see the differences highlighted side by side!

  3. Set up Custom Date Fields for key deadlines: Create Custom Date Fields to monitor audits, compliance deadlines, training schedules, and other important milestones directly within your policies and procedures. These can be set up in the Admin > Settings area.

  4. Use Content Locks during collaborative editing: Locking a policy is important, for example, if the policy is heading to the Board of Directors for approval. Know who and when someone is editing content by using this feature. When content is unlocked by another administrator, the person who locked the content for editing will be notified. Working collaboratively is working smarter!

  5. Secure your uploaded Files: Customize access roles to allow users to see only specific files and content. Always secure your files to be certain you know who has access to this valuable information.
