THIS WEEK'S AFFIRMATION

THIS WEEK'S SPIRITUAL PRACTICE

Here's a summary of how community members are practicing our Community Value of SERVICE:

  • by finding ways to assist others like bringing in neighbors trash cans and other different ways.

  • by carrying love in my heart and emanating that out around me, and that helps with the whole feeling of my life.

  • by singing here and to put out positivity and love and light on my Facebook page and to everybody in general and I try to help out as many people as I possibly can.

  • by taking responsibility for the "impact wave" of my behavior and practicing forgiveness for those who are unaware of how they impact others.

  • by staying in awareness, so that when opportunities arise to be present with someone or to do something presents, I'm ready.

  • by saying yes to things that are really mine to do even thought I don't want to do them. I practice service to shift my mental focus from I have to do something to I get to do something.

  • by doing random acts of service where there's no way for me to get credit for it... practicing self-less service.

  • by surprising the neighbors with new gravel on their driveway.

ENGAGEMENT OPPORTUNITIES

2025 ANNUAL PLEDGE PROGRAM

A few points of clarification.

  • We ask everyone to renew their membership and giving pledge so:
  • you have an opportunity to recommit, and
  • we know you're choosing to continue as a member of the Columbia CSL Community.
  • If you already have a recurring giving set up in Breeze and you're choosing to continue it into 2025, you only need to complete the 2025 Pledge Form.
  • If you have ANY additional questions, please reach out to me directly.

Much love,

Rev. Rafe

Quote of the Week

“On the banks of this river, I surrender to the boundaries that land is teaching.

Yes, I surrender to the demands of my dream for you and for myself. Which is love. Which is abundant rest. Which is a visionary world that looks so much like a dream, but when you close one eye, it opens. ... If I can learn to sleep it is because my dreams are yours and for you and of us. It is because my love is an ocean, but my path is a river shaped by and that will heal us if we let it.”
