Immediate Action Needed
Dear CETA Members and Board of Directors,
We have heard from House leadership that, based on everyone's efforts over the last few weeks, there is a desire to have these CRAs on the House floor next week. The one potential obstacle is concern over member attendance needed to pass the rule. To ensure we have enough GOP support for the rule we are reaching out to both the GOP members that were absent last week.
CETA encourages you to reach out and let the below listed Representatives know the importance of these CRAs to American manufacturing and encourage their attendance when Congress comes back into session on Monday, September 14th.
GOP Member Attendance for Outreach:
- Byron Donalds: U.S. representative for Florida's 19th congressional district
- Neal Dunn: U.S. representative for Florida's 2nd congressional district
- Michael McCaul: U.S. House of Representatives for Texas's 10th congressional district
- Mary Miller (IL): represents the 15th District of Illinois
- Cory Mills: U.S. representative from Florida's 7th congressional district
- Jay Obernolte U.S. representative for California's 23rd district
- William Andrew Ogles: U.S. representative for Tennessee's 5th congressional district
You can use the sample letter below. Please note that it follows the same format as the letter we sent last week, with the only change being the request that they attend to vote.
