December 2020
Homegrown Giving
Each year* we capture the work of the Foundation and its donors in an annual report.
Despite 2020 being a challenging year, we found we had plenty to celebrate!

The theme of "homegrown" celebrates the many ways CFOV funds and activities support what's happening in the Ohio Valley. And while we can't include EVERYTHING, the pages are full of examples that describe projects of all sizes that ultimately support the places we call home.

We're so pleased to share this year's report with you and invite you to explore what's inside by visiting here.

*the time period captured in the annual report is July 1, 2019 - June 30, 2020 - CFOV's fiscal year*
Giving Season
We've made it to the final month of the calendar year! The holidays bring a special charm and an elevated sense of appreciation for those people, places and things that make us whole.

It's no surprise that the holiday season also brings about an elevated interest in giving!
There's no shortage of opportunities to give of your time, talent and treasure this time (or any) of year.

No matter your motivation, CFOV offers a wide variety of opportunities for you to achieve your giving goals.
While contributions to funds of CFOV are tax-deductible, there are additional incentives available this year that may make it the perfect time for you to give a gift through the Foundation.

Have questions about how to make the most out of your charitable giving?
Reach out to Brianna, CFOV's development director, and she can walk you through the process!

Women's Giving Circle - Grant Application Deadline Approaching
A friendly reminder...the application deadline for the Women's Giving Circle
is TOMORROW (12/16) at noon.

If your organization serves women and girls and you have yet to explore the opportunity, do not delay!

COVID Update
December is typically a busy month for CFOV,
but we've never experienced this time of year during a pandemic!

The CFOV office is open and the team is splitting remote and in-person work.

We are limiting access to our office and kindly ask that you
arrange an appointment for needs best addressed in-person.

If you are an advisor of a Donor Advised Fund and plan on recommending grants, be sure to submit those by completing this form or by visiting here to the online version.

We're grateful to have the tools to serve our stakeholders as effectively as possible and
appreciate your consideration of the unusual times we are all navigating!
