2024 Fall Campaign
DAY 20
| |
Hello 40 Days for Life Supporters
Be at peace among yourselves. And we exhort you, brethren, admonish the idle, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with them all. See that none of you repays evil for evil, but always seek to do good to one another and to all. Rejoice always, pray constantly, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. Do not quench the Spirit, do not despise prophesying, but test everything; hold fast to what is good, abstain from every form of evil. 1Thessalonians 5:13-21

I received this report from Fred on Wednesday, October 9, of TWO SAVED BABIES about an hour apart while he and other pro-lifers were praying and witnessing to Life at Preterm! The first occurred when Fred talked to a mom, shortly after 3 pm, as she was leaving the parking lot. Fred asked, "Did you change your mind?" and the mom responded to Fred and Paul, "I saved my baby!" The second save was just before 4 pm as a mom stopped on the street and told Fred, "I saw you and I changed my mind." Fred asked, "You changed your mind?" Mom replied "I'm keeping my baby!" Fred gave her prolife information to which she responded, "God bless you." Fred said, "God bless you, too! Thank You, Jesus! Amen."

A Young Mom Helped By Pro-Lifers
A Miraculous Story Of God's Perfect Timing
| |
|
In late July, Father Scott, Pastor of St. Mary Chardon and St. Patrick Thompson and author of our 2024 Fall Campaign prayer card, reached out to a handful of pro-life organizations letting us know that a couple from St. Mary had baby items they wanted to bless a new mother with. Fr. Scott asked our organizations if we might be working with a mom that needed these baby items. The couple had already reached out to a couple of pregnancy centers with no success. I reached out to our supporters, Dan and Cathleen, who were in the process of helping a teen mom, Chrystal. They were at the Blessed Solanus Casey Center and had just finished offering prayers and invoking Blessed Solanus Casey's intercession for Chrystal to receive the help she needed, and as soon as they walked outside, their phone rang, and they received my call informing them of the baby items the generous couple from St. Mary's had available! Fr. Scott provided me with the information needed to connect the excited couple with Dan and Cathleen. Last week I received an email from Dan letting me know everything went smoothly and the gifts were dropped off to 16 year-old Chrystal who is due in January. A crib, stroller, soft rocking chair, baby bathtub, walker, changing table, high chair, and a car seat were some of the items to help meet the needs of a young mom who chose Life for her baby! Chrystal was extremely thankful! Please pray for Chrystal and her baby as she continues in school and continues to grow and become a responsible mother.

40 Days for Life is rapidly closing in on a milestone - 25,000 known babies spared from abortion! We Cleveland Pro-lifers have just reached 325 known saves since 40 Days for Life began here in 2009! There are 20 more days left in the 2024 Fall Campaign and if you have not been out to the sidewalk at one of our vigil sites, you still have time to do so and save a Life! The weather has become a bit chillier as we approach winter, so dress up, and come out and pray at one of our three sites. Be an instrument of the Lord's mercy and grace in changing the mind of an abortion-minded mother from ending the life of her preborn child by your prayer and presence at the site! Please sign up today to stand in the gap and pray at Preterm - Signature Health - Planned Parenthood.
Send me pics and stories from the sidewalks to

Below: As Monica and Ron, from St. Mary Magdalene, were praying and witnessing to Life at Signature Health, a young man approached and asked to pray an Our Father with them on his way to Mass. They noticed 4 affirmative waves and 2 cars beeping in solidarity. Also, a young woman walking with three small children in tow, stopped to ask if she could take their picture. They agreed and asked her to take a picture of them with their phone - DAY 10

Thank you to everyone for joining with Pastor Walt and commemorating all the children who have died from abortion and those mothers who died from a botched abortion. Pastor Walt and Darleen spoke, along with Allan and Carmella, Kate from Cleveland Right to Life shared with the group, and Jacqui solemnly read the list of women who died from a botched abortion.

Padre Pio Pilgrimage Invitation
| |
The Padre Pio Pilgrimage Company received a request from the Deacon community of the Cleveland Diocese to set up a one-day trip for them and their wives to visit Holy Sites in Pittsburgh on Tuesday, November 12. There are still some open seats on the bus and the Deacons wanted to make the remaining seats available to anyone in the Diocese. Mike wanted to give 40 Days for Life supporters the opportunity to join them on this trip to the spiritual sites in Pittsburgh. More info in the flyers below.
|
May almighty God grant our requests,
guide our journeys,
and bless us and our efforts.
St. Callistus I, pray for us
Amen
Gratia et Pax Christi Vobiscum, John
