8th Grade Yearbook Tributes

Would you like to include a tribute to your graduating student in this year's yearbook? If so, here are the necessary details should you wish to participate:

1. For $40, you will receive a 1/8th-page space in our yearbook, which is room for 1-2 photos and a message of pride and congratulations to your child.

2. You will design, pay, and submit everything online. We have to submit these pages for printing as they are completed, so please be sure to proof your file very carefully. Unfortunately, changes aren't possible after it is submitted.

3. When you're ready, go to this link to begin, and scroll down to find the button that says "Start Your Ad":

https://www.yearbookordercenter.com/index.cfm/job/13545

We will keep the portal open until all the pages allocated to tributes have been filled.

Any questions should be directed to Mr. Lewis at MLewis@abschools.org

Open Door Theater Takes Flight with HONK! at R.J. Grey's Dragonfly Theater March 20-29

Open Door Theater is proud to announce our production of HONK!, a musical telling of “The Ugly Duckling” story. HONK! is a heartwarming celebration of being different that is sure to delight audiences of all ages. Ugly looks quite a bit different from his siblings, and others are quick to notice and point this out. Ugly is kind-hearted, awkward and innocent, and his journey of self-discovery is the heart of the show. This messaging supports the mission of Open Door Theater and will resonate with audiences now more than ever. Like Open Door Theater, HONK! has the audacity to assert that the default state of community should be inclusion and that “fowl” behavior will no longer be tolerated. Open Door’s cast will present 6 performances March 20-29, 2026 at the Dragonfly Theater. All performances are relaxed/sensory friendly and feature ASL interpretation and open captioning. There will be audio-described performances on the second weekend. Tickets are $20. Discounted tickets for EBT, WIC and ConnectorCare Cardholders.

Work Permits

Process for Daily Announcement Sign Ups!

The School invites any interested parent or guardian to sign up to receive our Daily Announcements email. The Daily Announcements email is exactly what it sounds like. Generally, in mid-morning, our Main Office will compile any of our ongoing or new announcements and send them to interested families. Examples of parts of our email would be: listing which clubs meet that week; sign ups for Ski Club; Jazz Band auditions; when the next Early Release is; and notification of a postponed athletic game or meet. We don't use the Daily Announcements to send emergency information.

This year, we have moved to sending our Daily Announcements through Parent Square. Please click on the link below to sign up. If you're already registered with Parent Square, just sign in and got to Groups and add the Daily Announcements to your groups. If you are not yet registered, you will need to enter the email address that we have on file (the address where you are receiving this message).

Please click here to sign up to receive the Daily Announcements email!

LATE BUS
