AFM Leads Training in Malawi!

In June, AFM team members from the United States and Kenya traveled to Malawi to lead firefighter and fire safety trainings! This was an exciting opportunity to connect with members of Malawi's fire service and address the current needs and challenges firefighters are facing in the country.

Trainings included hands-on demonstrations of gas cylinder safety, Active Bleeding Control, and firefighter tactics. This training event showcased the development and commitment of firefighters in Malawi and the power of AFM's in-person training model. AFM Announces Collaboration with
Metro Fire Chiefs Association
and Liberia National Fire Service

Africa Fire Mission is excited to announce a new collaboration with the Metropolitan Fire Chiefs Association and the Liberia National Fire Service.

In October 2026, AFM and Metro Chiefs representatives will travel to Monrovia, Liberia to explore opportunities for firefighter training, leadership development, firefighter safety, and long-term capacity building.

This initiative reflects our shared commitment to strengthening fire services through sustainable partnerships and investing in local leadership.
