White Rose Senior Center

Hello Lisa,

Happy New Year from White Rose Senior Center

Here’s to another year of friendship, joy, and community here at the White Rose Senior Center. As we welcome 2025, let us carry forward the memories we’ve created, the wisdom we’ve shared, and the connections that make this place so special.

May the coming year bring us peace, good health, and countless opportunities to grow together and support one another. Let’s embrace each day with gratitude and hope, knowing that the best moments are often the simplest ones we share.

Raise your glasses to a bright and meaningful year ahead—here’s to 2025 and to all of you who make this center feel like home. Cheers!

Home Delivered Meals are delivered currently one time a week to homebound older adults that the York County Area Agency on Aging have assessed and deemed appropriate.

White Rose Senior Center has 10 routes that vary with a few clients to upwards of 28 clients. The route may take 1- 1 1/2 hours and the meals are ready for delivery about 10:00 on Mondays.

You need to have a car, a valid driver's license, and enjoy older adults. You may be the only person that the client may see all day. Our drivers LOVE this volunteer opportunity and have made great friends with those that they serve.

If you are interested, please contact Lisa Krout at White Rose Senior Center (717-843-9704) for additional information. She can set up a "ride along" with an experienced driver to see if you may like helping an older adult in our community!
