Afterschool Programs this November & December; Grades K-5

Campfires, Crafts, and Bunny Snuggles

Early sunsets are a great excuse for campfires! We will make the most of "sweater weather" by doing seasonal crafts and cooking projects (ever made a gingerbread house for a chicken?), getting the garden and animals ready for winter, and making sure we get plenty of bunny snuggles.

Dig In and Help us Harvest Sweet Potatoes!

We need you in the field this Wed., Oct. 14

Help our farmers harvest sweet potatoes this Wednesday, October 14! Bring gloves, and wear pants and closed-toe shoes you don’t mind getting muddy. We’ll provide water and a warm beverage to sip on. This harvest will take place at one of our satellite fields in Weston. Location shared after sign-up.

Join us for Fall Farm Fest!
Saturday, October 24, 10am-2pm

As Halloween approaches and the growing season wraps up, join Land's Sake Farm for an afternoon of festive fun with live music, pizza, ice cream, fall family farm fun, and NEW THIS YEAR, a beer garden! Wear your Halloween costume! Food, drink and beer garden wrist bands are available for purchase. 

We are seeking energetic volunteers to help with Fall Farm Fest, October 24, 10am-2pm. From animal monitoring and kid activities, to parking and traffic support, we'll need a bunch of help to make this event happen.

Pumpkin Painting on the Farm this Friday!
October 16, 2:30-4:30pm

Swing by the Education Barn between 2:30–4:30pm on Friday, October 16 for family-friendly pumpkin painting! Grown-ups accompany kids as they create their own fall masterpiece.

• $20 includes one pumpkin and painting supplies
• $10 for each additional pumpkin
• Pre-registration encouraged; drop-ins welcome as space allows

Winter Shares Available

Land's Sake's Winter CSA Share includes three Saturday pickups packed with hearty storage vegetables: Nov. 7, Nov. 21, and Dec. 5. Designed to feed 4–6 people, each share offers produce that stays fresh for two weeks or more. Please note you must be a Land's Sake Farm member to sign up for a CSA share.
