Blended Learning Academy (BLA)
|
|
Current juniors recently heard a presentation about a new opportunity for taking academic courses at DACC.
BLA is a new approach to DACC academic classes that will be available to qualified, full-day seniors for the 2022-2023 school year.
Here is what a typical week will look like in BLA:
-
Mondays and Wednesdays, students will be required to attend in-person class following a regular schedule.
-
Tuesdays and Thursdays, students will complete assignments and activities from home. During these days, students will be able to work at their own pace, but will have virtual access to their teachers during their assigned period time through video conferencing.
-
Fridays will look and feel like Hybrid Fridays with students qualifying to work from home. Students who are struggling or have transportation issues will be able to attend DACC on any of the virtual days, follow their schedule, and receive more 1-on-1 help from their teachers. Students are required to attend lab daily.
