Week of December 14 / 23 Jumada at-Thani

Last week, hundreds of lovers of Mawlana Shaykh Hisham Kabbani (QS) gathered in Fenton, Michigan, traveling from across the country and around the world. They came for one reason—love. Love for Mawlana, love for the Prophet ﷺ, and love for the spiritual family Mawlana nurtured with patience, wisdom, and mercy throughout his blessed life.

Under the guidance of Shaykh Nour Kabbani, the community visited Mawlana’s Maqaam during the first days of his Urs. It was a weekend filled with dhikr, sohbat, mawlid, and the living adab of our Golden Chain—quiet reminders of the path we inherited and the trust we carry forward.

May Allah ﷻ accept every step taken, every tear shed, and every intention offered in remembrance.

A messenger has come to you from among yourselves, deeply concerned for your suffering, eager for your well-being, gentle and merciful toward the believers.

But if they turn away, say: Allah is enough for me, there is no god but Him. I rely on Him, and He is the Lord of the Mighty Throne

Surah at-Tawbah (9:128-129)

"Imam Shamil said he reached this station in Jannah by reciting the last 2 verses of Surah Tawbah after every obligatory prayer. Then read any salawat. The one I love most is salawat Nariyah.”

As-Salatun-Naariyah (As-Salat u'l Tafreejiyyah)

O Allah, send complete prayers and perfect peace

on our Master Muhammad ﷺ,

by whom knots are untied,

distresses are relieved,

needs are fulfilled,

aspirations are attained,

and a good ending is granted;

and by whose noble face the clouds give rain.

And upon his Family and Companions,

with every breath and every glance,

by the measure which Your knowledge encompasses

This salawat is from the Kanzu 'l-Asraar and it opens the seven heavens and it was been tested by great Awliya such as Imam Sanusi, Sidi Omar Mukhtar, Sidi ibn Hajar al-Asqalani and Imam al-Qurtubi. It is used very much in Morocco. Whenever a calamity, distress or danger manifests usually the Sufis and the Ahlu-Khayr (the people of goodness), gather together and read it 4,444 times after which they do tawwasul through the Prophet (saws) and by Allah's Will, safety will come.

Listen to the recitation here.

Allahumma salli salatan kamilah

wa sallim salaman tamma

ala Sayyidina Muhammad

alladhi tanhallu bihil ‘uqd,

wa tanfariju bihil kurab,

wa tuqda bihil hawaij,

wa tunalu bihir raghā’ib,

wa husnul khawatim,

wa yustasqa ’l-ghamamu bi wajhihil karim,

wa ‘ala alihi wa sahbihi fi kulli lamhatin wa nafas,

bi-`adadi kulli m`aloomin laka.

Urs of Muhammad Baba as-Samasi ق

10th of Jumada at-Thani, 755 H

From his sayings:

The seeker must always stand on his keeping Allah’s Divine Orders, and he must be constant in the state of purity. He must first have a pure heart that never looks towards anything but Allah Almighty and Exalted. Then he must keep pure that inner self, which is never revealed to anyone. That is perceiving the true vision. The purity of the chest (sadr), consists of hope and contentment with His Will. Then purity of the spirit, which consists of modesty and reverence...Read More

Muhammad al-Baqi sat on the Throne of all Golden Chain Shaykhs, who reached the end of the infinitely high states of wilayat (Friendship of God). He was a qutb who supported every creature on this Earth. He unveiled of the Station of the Reality of Muhammad (muhaqqiqin).”

He was born in ~1565 CE, in the city of Kabul in the land of `Ajam, a colony of the Sultanate of India. His father was the judge Abdu-s-Salam. He first journeyed to India on personal business. There he became Majzub (مَجذوب),struck by the magnetic attraction of the Divine. He left this worldly life behind and sought spiritual knowledge from the Spiritual Master of the Century.

He kept company with saintly masters, until he himself became an ocean of intellect and spirituality. He traveled continuously until he reached the city of Samarqand. There he connected himself to the Master of his time, Muhammad Khwaja al-Amkanaki ق. He received from him the Way of the Naqshbandi Order. In a very short time he received what most seekers require a lifetime to receive.

He was elevated also through the spiritual care of Ubaidullah al-Ahrar ق. His honor became known everywhere. His shaykh, authorized him to take followers and to train them in the conduct of the Order. He ordered him to go back to India. He predicted, “You are going to have a follower who will be like the sun.” This would be Imam Rabbani Ahmad al-Faruqi ق.
