The 2025 ASCE/APWA Alabama Summer Meeting returns to Orange Beach with a new location at the Event Center at The Wharf!

We are preparing another exciting program to cover a wide range of Civil Engineering and Public Works topics. We plan to cover these topics in multiple sessions over 3 days: Thursday afternoon (July 17), Friday morning (July 18) and Saturday morning (July 19).

If you are interested in sharing your knowledge, experience or vision with these professionals, we are now accepting speaker proposals for multiple sessions that will occur over the course of this 3-day event.

There are three easy steps to submitting your proposal:

1. Visit and read the Call for Speakers page for information and instructions.
2. Click the "Submit Proposal" button to complete a form.
3. Complete the Call for Speakers form.

Registration for attendees, sponsors and exhibitors will open in a couple weeks. Mark your calendars and watch your emails for some of the key dates below.

• Early Bird Registration: 4/14/2025 – 5/4/2025

• Standard Registration: 5/5/2025 – 7/2/2025

• Late Registration: 7/3/2025 – 7/17/2025

The conference hotel room block has been reserved at the SpringHill Suites Orange Beach at The Wharf, located immediately next to the Orange Beach Event Center at The Wharf where the conference will be held. Reservations must be made on an individual basis online or by phone. Please see details below for a link to the reservation website and phone number. A credit card and first night’s room and tax will be required to guarantee the reservation.

Cutoff Date: The SpringHill Suites Orange Beach at The Wharf will accept reservations, provided there are available rooms until June 16, 2025, at which time any unreserved rooms will be released into general sale. The group rate will no longer be available after the cutoff date.
