This is a reminder that complete documentation of all borrower sources of funds—including down payment assistance, secondary financing, or grant programs—is required in every closed loan file submitted to AHFA/ServiSolutions.

All files must include:

• Evidence of the source of funds (e.g., grant or assistance award letter).
• Executed Note associated with the subordinate financing or assistance.
• Copy of Executed Security Instrument (or a copy of the recorded instrument if recording has been completed).

This requirement applies to all forms of borrower assistance, whether provided by AHFA, another state or local housing program, nonprofit organization, or any third-party entity.

Incomplete documentation may result in purchase delays or suspension of loan delivery until the required information is received.
