Girls Present The News!

2025 MISSION PROJECT UPDATE
Nov. 1st Celebration Video Highlight:

The Jerri Savuto Center News

The girls and their news stories are full of gratitude and fun. This newscast was made just for us - the Horizon TX Conference United Women in Faith. Their gratitude is genuine and they made a great presentation!

Click to experience this rare opportunity to hear thanks from the beneficiaries of our international mission project. You'll be amazed at how clever they are and enjoy getting 'to know' them. Click to watch the news now from news anchor, Divora, and her correspondents, Orian, Monica, Joy, Linda, Massie and Faith.

Thanks to all 2025 Mission Project Donors!

The funds have been sent to Kenya so that building the new security stone wall can start. The season when the girls are most vulnerable is in December. The wall will help protect them before 'FGM season' when many girls get "The Cut." Your donations are changing lives!

COMING SOON: A recording of our whole Celebration with the Girls at the Jerri Savuto Center. The Nov. 1st virtual interactive event was a powerful experience for all of us! The Girls living at the Center in Kenya offered prayer, scripture, testimony and a clever "Newscast" telling us about recent developments and how they are grateful for our support! HTC UWFaith Officers greeted the girls and shared messages of encouragement, prayers and love for them.

HAPPENING THIS WEEK:

Craft your Story

National United Women in Faith presents...
GET YOUR VOICE HEARD!
Thursday, November 13 11 am - 1 pm CST

Writing your story can shape public opinion, influence the world, and put love into action. Using our collective voices, we can advocate for our social justice priorities, climate justice , ending mass incarceration and criminalization of communities of color. When we learn how to use more tools, we can create unstoppable change together.

Jennifer R. Farmer from Spotlight PR will lead a training on writing opinion essays (op-eds) and LTEs (letters to the editor). We’ll learn the purpose of op-eds and LTEs, effective writing tips, and potential action topics to get you started from our social justice campaigns! Register for this Virtual Event here.
