One of the greatest joys of serving as your District Governor is traveling across our 12 counties and visiting each of our incredible Rotary clubs. Every club has its own unique culture, personality, and vibe. Some are large and bustling; others are small and intimate. Yet no matter the size, every club shares one powerful, unmistakable trait: an extraordinary capacity to serve.
As Thanksgiving approaches, we’re reminded that this season is not only about gratitude but also about generosity. Many families in our communities are facing greater challenges this year, whether from the results of the ongoing government shutdown, recent layoffs, or the impact of natural disasters around the world. And once again, Rotarians are stepping up.
What inspires me most is seeing clubs of every size finding ways to meet real needs through food drives, fundraising events, hands-on service, and partnerships that multiply impact. You prove, time and again, that compassion is not measured by membership numbers but by the willingness to act.
Thank you for demonstrating what “Service Above Self” truly looks like. Your dedication continues to strengthen our district and uplift those who need us most.
Let’s continue serving with heart, purpose, and Unite for Good, because in Rotary, size doesn’t matter, but service does.
Have a great Rotary week, friends!
