Whole Church Sundays give us an opportunity to connect with people from across St. Stephen’s and experience the joy of worshiping together.

Sunday School Reimagined

Our new Sunday morning experience for our children starts on Sunday, October 4. Check in your children at the nursery.

Children of all ages are invited to join us in worship for a special Children’s Moment. Afterward, children may stay in worship with their families, nursery-age children may return to the nursery, or children in grades K–5 may head to Stephen’s Place for Sunday School, where they’ll share a Bible story and enjoy age-appropriate games and activities.

After worship, children can be checked out from the nursery or Stephen’s Place, depending on where they attended.

We are excited to create more opportunities for our children to worship with their church family, connect with one another, and grow in their faith!

Small Group Study: Women of the Word

Leader: Ruth Pollard

Study Title: Isaiah, The Promise of the Messiah by John MacArthur

Date: Studying this now through Advent

Time & Location: Thursdays from 9:30 to 11:00 am in the Small Group Resource Room

Description:

This small group is made up of a group of eight lively women, and they currently have space for new members! Please visit the Welcome Center to learn more.

Isaiah's ministry as a prophet—during the period of the divided kingdom—spanned the reigns of four Judean kings. He condemned the empty ritualism of his day and the idolatry into which the people had fallen. He foresaw the coming Babylonian captivity, and some of his prophecies were even fulfilled in his lifetime, but the literal fulfillment of his prophecies concerning Christ's first coming have given Isaiah's words their strongest vindication—and the further assurance in the prophecies of Christ's second coming.

In this study, pastor John MacArthur goes through an in-depth look at the historical backdrop to the book of Isaiah, continuing through the different prophecies and the teachings about the grace of God.
