An Evening with Artist Jan Dilenschneider

Waveny was privileged to host Darien artist Jan Dilenschneider for a lovely evening reception and presentation, with marvelous food and a champagne toast! In addition to the evening's celebration, Mrs. Dilenschneider returned to Waveny to teach a special pastel drawing class for those in our Memory Care-Assisted Living community, The Village. Thank you Mrs. Dilenschneider for bringing your artwork to Waveny and sharing your talents with all of us.

¿Hablas español? Learning Spanish at The Inn

The learning opportunities are endless for residents of The Inn, Waveny's independent living community! This month residents have been enjoying Spanish lessons, with the help of our amazing volunteer Rachel. The twice-weekly classes have been a fun and engaging way to strengthen connections, learn something new and keep minds sharp and active! Vamos a aprender juntos!

Village Family Picnic Fun

A great time was had by all of our residents and their family members who spent a lovely sunny Saturday afternoon with us for our annual Village Family Picnic!

Residents, families, staff and volunteers enjoyed hot-from-the-oven slices from our favorite pizza truck while sitting in Claire's Garden; Vincent & Michael provided music and entertainment, and a fabulous time was had by all.
