The International Workshop on Gallium Oxide and Related Materials (IWGO-6) is the most prestigious international forum for Ga2O3 and related materials. The sixth workshop is scheduled for August 2-7, 2026, in College Park, Maryland.
The scientific field related to the ultra-wide bandgap Gallium Oxide semiconductor has been rapidly expanding over the past decade due to intensive research in the field of crystal and epitaxial growth, devices, theory, and applications. The IWGO technical program will be organized according to the following technical topics:
- Theory, modeling, and simulation
- Substrate development and material quality
- Epitaxial growth and doping control
- Defects science
- Advanced device scaling and fabrication techniques
- Thermal management and heat dissipation
- Circuit-level benchmarking and reliability assessment
