We invite the women of our church to join us at 2:00 PM in the home of the Armstrongs for a tea to honor and encourage our senior girls. There will be tea, snacks, and a time of prayer. Please join us in reminding our seniors that they are loved and that they are not heading out into the world alone.

HONORING SUSAN COXHEAD

Susan Coxhead is retiring after 25 years of faithful service as the God’s House Kindergarten director. The God’s House Board would like your help to honor her in two ways. First, if you or your children attended God’s House, please consider writing a note for Susan to thank her. You can turn these notes in to the church office. We are also collecting donations for a cash gift for Susan. If you’d like to give, please click HERE. Letters and donations are due by Sunday, May 11. We will honor Susan on May 18th at the 11:00 service where she will be presented with our gifts of appreciation for her dedicated service.

Please extend a warm welcome to the officers serving our church.

GARDENING HELP

We have several rose bushes on the church property that need regular care. If interested in helping out, contact Anna at anna@avpc.org. No experience needed! We’ll give a quick tutorial, and then you’re welcome to stop by the church at your convenience to care for the roses. It only takes a few minutes!
