Edgecombe Community College has joined other NC community colleges in an exciting new transfer opportunity with NC State University called Wolfpack Connect. The Guaranteed Admissions Agreement will ensure that students who complete an Associate in Arts or Associate in Science degree at ECC will be admitted to NC State University.

The Edgecombe Community College Foundation’s 2025-2026 Campus Campaign ended with a celebration. The 76 employees who generously supported the annual initiative lived up to the theme, “The Power of Us,” each helping the Foundation meet and exceed the goal of raising $12,500. The campaign amassed a total of $13,870 to support student success, and on Thursday, Feb. 19, all ECC employee donors were recognized.

The Universal Leaf Foundation has awarded a grant of $2,000 to Edgecombe Community College. Two scholarships of $1,000 each will be awarded to ECC students in any curriculum. According to their website, the University Leaf Foundation “supports initiatives that strengthen education, promote well-being, expand access to arts, and protect the environment.”
