Last Call for Early Registration for the 30th Annual RRVA Texas Regional Water Resource Conference!

We wanted to send out one last reminder about early registration for the Red River Valley Association's 30th Annual Texas Regional Water Resource Conference coming up next week! You now have through Monday, October 26th to save on registration.

We have a great lineup of speakers Thursday morning from the Greater Texoma Utility Authority and the North Texas Municipal Water District, as well as from our Federal partners at the US Army Corps of Engineers Fort Worth and Tulsa Districts. We have also invited our state legislative and congressional delegation members to bring us up to speed on the latest developments in Austin and Washington, DC.

Our afternoon session will include discussion about the current round of planing for the Texas State Water Plan, as well as some interesting data that is emerging in the Lake Texoma Watershed. We will close out the day with an update on the status of bringing navigation into Southwest Arkansas and what the future may hold for bringing navigation all the way to Denison Dam.

Our partners at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Red River Area Office in Denison have graciously offered to host RRVA conference attendees for a tour of the Denison Hydropower Plant on the afternoon of Wednesday, October 28th. This tour will begin at 2:00pm and last approximately two hours.

We would also like to invite you to join us for a Wednesday evening reception hosted in part by Hayter Engineering, Freese & Nichols, and the Red River Waterway Commission welcoming our conference attendees to the Denison/Sherman area!
