Dear LAC Family & Friends,
Today, your church staff will be gathering along the shore of the Long Island Sound to discern, dream, schedule, and plan out the many details that go into a successful church season. Around a central conference table, we will, among other things, be brainstorming new ways to approach scripture and song in worship, strategizing about Sunday school and confirmation classes, considering possibilities for speakers in our SEEKERS series, and thinking of new ways to share the story of LAC with our broader community. At a sunny lunch table, we will enjoy some good food and probably quite a bit of laughter, as we strengthen the bonds that already bind us together in our work. And we will take at least a little time to pause and take in the view. We are all so thankful to be part of such a wonderful church community, and for the blessing it is to be partners in mission and ministry with all of you.
So, while the church office will be closed today, rest assured that we are hard at work envisioning an amazing 2025-26 season for Larchmont Avenue Church. And, if you have a moment, say a quick prayer for us and the important work we are doing today!
Blessings and peace,
