Wall of Wins: Alumni Accomplishments Are Our Shared Success

There is no better validation of everyone’s work at Russell Sage than hearing from alumni who are reaching their next goals.

Thanks, CSTEP Director Katie Smith and Health Sciences Professor Marci Murphy for sharing these updates with the Office of Marketing & Communications — proof that behind every graduate’s achievement is a network of faculty and staff who helped them get there:

🩺 Mena Abdelmeged ’24 (pictured), now a student at Ross University School of Medicine, stopped by the CSTEP office over the summer to say thank you and catch up with Katie Smith.

📄 Allie Basila ’24 reached out to Professor Murphy after completing her first week of Physician Assistant school at Marist. Allie wrote, “Your support, encouragement, and guidance truly helped me get to where I am today, and I wanted to make sure you knew how grateful I am.” She went on to share how her preparation holds up in a 60-person cohort alongside students from large universities across the country: “Being here has shown me that the foundation I built at Sage prepared me just as well as anyone else... I’ll always be proud to say that I came from Russell Sage College.” Allie also offered to talk with current pre-PA students about navigating the application process.

Have former students reached out to you to say thank you for your role in their success? Please consider sharing those stories on the Wall of Wins

so the college community can celebrate with you!
