The front wall of the Educate Youth Clubhouse reads “Hope Brings Change”. The Having Opportunities for Positive Education, or H.O.P.E. program, has brought a tremendous amount of change in the first half of the 2022-2023 academic year.
With each day of the H.O.P.E. program, we have observed changes in the students at Educate Youth. Students who did not consistently attend school began to display positive trends in attendance. Students who frequently shared of disciplinary problems began having uninterrupted days of learning. Students who once kept to themselves began to spend more time connecting with peers and staff.
No matter what the world looked like, each day, students worked diligently to complete assignments on time. Our students turned to and supported each other in times of need, and consistently showed that they had each other’s back.
Each day at Educate Youth is an adventure, and each student brings their own unique perspectives and humor to H.O.P.E. with each day. As H.O.P.E. continues to bring change to our community, we look forward to seeing what the remainder of the 2022-2023 academic year has in store for Educate Youth, and more importantly, what the students of Educate Youth has in store for the school year.
