SUMMER VIBES WITH THIS BOOK IS COOL!

CALLING ALL FAMILIES, CAREGIVERS, AND EDUCATORS, Suncoast Remake Learning Days was a blast, but the fun isn't over!

The Suncoast Campaign for Grade-Level Reading is excited to welcome back our 10-week THIS BOOK IS COOL! summer reading program, but TIME IS RUNNING OUT TO REGISTER. SCGLR aspires to have everyone signed up by this Sunday, May 7 so the book distribution can be efficient.

This FREE summer adventure is designed to engage the minds of incoming students in grades PreK–3 and encourage their continued learning through reading.

To qualify for THIS BOOK IS COOL!, your child must be:

• A resident of Charlotte, DeSoto, Hardee, Manatee, or Sarasota counties
• Entering grades PreK–3rd grade in the fall of 2023
• Enrolled at a Title I school OR eligible for free/reduced lunch

**This program is designed for families with limited means. If you don't believe your child would qualify due to limited income but would still like to participate in the program, we suggest donating $80 to Season of Sharing.

Attended by more than 24,000 people, congratulations on hosting over 200 events, making these past 10 days the world's largest Remake Learning Days festival! Thank you for sharing your gifts and making it both a huge success and a joy!

In the coming weeks, we will share highlights from the festival, but for now, click here and scroll down to glimpse the 10-day festival via the photo album on SCGLR's website. Did you take any pictures?
