Trigger Burst is a state approved handgun safety school, certified to teach the Tennessee Handgun Safety Course that will qualify you for the Enhanced Handgun Carry Permit.
You might ask "why do I need an Enhance Permit when Tennessee is a constitution carry state, or better, a permitless state."
Permitless carry is an exception to the law's general prohibition against carrying firearms with the intent to go armed. Under this exception, eligible individuals can carry handguns without a permit in locations that are not otherwise prohibited by law, posted as prohibiting firearms, or restricted to permit holders only.
The Enhanced permit is valid for 8 years (with the ability to get a lifetime permit) and allows carrying concealed handguns in 35 states. The minimum age for the Enhanced Permit is 18 years old. Also, these permits allow permit holders to carry handguns in select places where permitless carry is not allowed including UNLESS the area is being used by any number of students for the purpose of conducting an athletic event or other school–related activity:
- Public Park
- Natural Area
- Historic Park
- Nature Trail
- Campground
- Forest
- Greenway
- Waterway
- Similar public place that is owned or operated by the state, a county, or a municipality

Saturday March 23rd (Classroom) from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Sunday March 24th (Range qualifications) 1:00 to 4:00 PM

Classroom: Spring Hill United Methodist Church, 5286 Main St, Spring Hill, (map)
Range: Charlie Haffner Memorial Range (maps and directions at class).
Cost?
$100 plus $20 range fee (range fee must be cash at the range at check-in)

What do I need?
50 rounds of ammunition for the range
Any handgun (I can provide a handgun if you do not own one).
Eye and ear protection (or borrow mine)
Pen and pencil for class, a notebook
Sack lunch for Saturday, or take a quick trip to ??? for lunch.
We supply water, you may want to bring a snack
