LAST CALL FOR TICKETS

The BronxWorks 2026 5K Fun Run/Walk Monster Mash Hunger Dash is this Saturday! Support BronxWorks efforts to combat food insecurity in the Bronx! We welcome our runners and families to dress up in their best costumes! Light refreshments will be available.

The weather forecast for Saturday is fantastic, and we look forward to seeing you!

Orchard Beach can be accessed via Exit 8B on I-95 if coming from the south or Exit 3 on the Hutchinson River Parkway if coming from the north. Public transportation is not recommended, as during the offseason the closest bus stop is at least a mile away. We recommend driving or taking a rideshare service; use the address 1 Orchard Beach Rd, Bronx, NY. You may need to direct the driver to the parking lot.

Parking is free and plentiful at the beach. When you arrive, park near the playground close to the beach. Registration will be just beyond the entrance to the beach, near the stage (see map below, or click here for a larger image). We will have our BronxWorks tent set up. Bathrooms are available close by the registration table.

The promenade runs the length of Orchard Beach and is approximately one mile long. The race will kick off at near the halfway point of the Promenade. Runners and walkers will head north to one end of the promenade, turn around and follow the promenade to the southern end, head back to the north end, and then finish at the BronxWorks tent in front of the stage.

It's not too late to buy tickets to join in on the fun! Tickets are $40 for adults 18+, $15 for youth ages 13-17, and $10 for children ages 3-12. Children 0-2 run free! Families can also register (1 adult and up to 2 children 3-17) for $50. If you would like to join the 5K, click here to register and buy tickets!

We encourage all of our 5K participants to fundraise! Incentives are available for our top fundraisers. You can also join as a team with your friends or family. If you are interested in fundraising or would like to support our fundraisers, click here.
