Spring Statewide Playing Opportunities

February 13 is the registration deadline for all of the following Illinois Youth Soccer run statewide competitions. Each of these competitions are exclusive to teams that are registered to one of our member competitive leagues for Spring 2026. Click here for details on which league qualifies your team to play.

Winning the State Cup has never meant more. With a newly launched pathway, win the state title and your team advances directly to play for the most coveted prize in youth soccer, the US Youth Soccer National Championship.

Like the State Cup, the Illinois Presidents Cup offers teams a statewide championship tournament that earns advancement into a US Youth Soccer Regional event which hopefully advances them to the US Youth Soccer National Presidents Cup. To compare, the State Cup is the UEFA Champions League and the Presidents Cup is the Europa League

This in-state only tournament offers teams that may not be ready for the State Cup or Presidents Cup, the chance to experience a statewide championship event. Thru the Illinois Cup, IYSA can proudly offer a Cup Championship event for teams of ALL SKILL LEVELS as this event has two tiers; Gold which is open to any member team and Silver which is exclusive to teams in C/3rd Division of league play.

The State Premiership offers cross-league play against top teams without the expense and commitment of out-of-state travel. The Premiership provides participating teams competitive games, remarkable scheduling flexibility and outstanding team, club and player publicity at an unmatched price. Is your team ready to step up their game?

The US Youth Soccer National League is built on the foundation of one simple thing, Earn Your Place. For Illinois teams who have the desire to play at the Regional and National League level, the first steps towards that is securing a spot thru the Illinois MWC Qualifiers. Based on how your team performs you can earn your promotion into the Midwest Conference for the following season.
