WALDPORT CHAMBER OF COMMERCE TIDINGS
November 8, 2021

Gratitude: Thankfulness or gratefulness, from the Latin word gratus "pleasing, thankful". A feeling of appreciation felt by the recipient of kindness, gifts, help, favors, or other types of generosity, to the giver of said gifts. It rhymes with attitude.

This month we celebrate Thanksgiving. Why not every month?

The Waldport Chamber of Commerce is grateful for you. We are grateful for those who volunteer to serve our community, for those who run local businesses, for those who help keep us safe and warm. Gratitude is an exercise worth practicing every single day.

An attitude of gratitude is one worth pursuing. It helps with perspective, it helps with how we treat others, it helps with how we raise our kids - and I believe it helps reduce blood pressure!

On behalf of our volunteer board of directors, The Waldport Chamber of Commerce says, "Thank You."

Kevin Battles, President
Jamie Michel, Vice-President
Sue Woodruff, Treasurer
Jen Perry, Secretary
Ryan Bennett, Director
Ron Remund, Past President

Warm regards,

GRAND CENTRAL PIZZA.

On September 15, 1987, Rick and Kathy Grady together with their partners Chris and Lisa Woosley opened Ats'a Pizza, what is now Grand Central Pizza. Their mission was to provide Waldport with quality food, great atmosphere and exceptional service.
Today, although the name has changed and the building is new after a devastating fire in 1996, they still strive for these same qualities.

"We are very proud that for over 34 years we have upheld our strong community bond and that tourists and locals find our establishment a relaxing and enjoyable stop! You will find award winning pizza, world famous garlic rolls, a fresh salad
bar, pasta, lasagna, grinders, fish and chips, burgers, take and bake pizzas,
along with many other amazing choices.
Thank you!"
