We hosted our last Good Morning Lakeville of 2024 this week! We enjoyed a delicious breakfast buffet, courtesy of the new B-52 Burgers + Brew head chef (who is starting a catering program by the way!), hot coffee from Mick at Dunn Brothers, and most of all…each other’s company! Thank you to everyone who makes GML happen each year – B-52 & The Better Half, Dunn Brothers Coffee, our presenters, our sponsors – Interstate PowerSystems and Minnesota Energy Resources, and of course…ALL OF YOU!

GML was also a special treat because we were able to tell Mark and Jason that they are dual-award winners this year – as the Chamber Board of Directors voted B-52 Burgers + Brew as our 2024 Community Business Partner of the Year (chosen from nominations provided by the City of Lakeville) aaaaaand…The Better Half was selected as our 2024 Education Business Partner of the Year (chosen from nominations provided by ISD194). Both are so deserving as they do so much to support our community and our schools throughout the year by participating in events, committing to sponsorships, donating through give back nights and welcome teacher breakfasts, and so much more. Just a reminder that the early bird deadline for our 2025 expo is December 31. You will receive $50 off your registration if signed up by the end of this year. We are working on another great show! In addition to the 100+ local exhibitors, attendees will be greeted with free coffee again this year, courtesy of the Lakeville Lions and some young local entrepreneurs will get the chance to sell their items during the show in our YES section - sponsored by Metronet. Thank you to all of the members who supported the 3rd annual DECA Career Conference. Students from Lakeville North and South participated in this development opportunity where they learned about various career paths from a panel of speakers, interacted with over a dozen businesses at a business expo and completed a financial planning workshop with Wings Financial.

Give us one of your most fun moments in your business career: I received the Presidents Club award and received a cruise to the Bahamas. I took my Cousin and we went jet skiing in the ocean, that was crazy fun!

Women’s Face-Off Classic

University of Minnesota vs Bemidji State University

$15 + ticketing fee

The game will raise awareness for the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame Museum in Eveleth, Minnesota and will showcase women’s college hockey at its highest level to the fans including young girls who may aspire to play hockey. Following the game, select players from both teams will sign autographs for youth hockey players in attendance. Purchase your tickets HERE.
