At this point, there isn’t a whole lot new to say about the Covid virus and the havoc it has wreaked on individual lives, as well as the country as a whole. The situation has provided some unique challenges and opportunities for businesses. Some of those challenges have yielded some interesting results.
Mississippi State Studio
A recent visit to Mississippi State University brought Precast 101 to 3rd and 4th year students in the School of Construction Science and School of Architecture. As a recipient of a newly awarded PCI Foundation studio grant, Assistant Professor Alexis Gregory is eager to immerse her students in the vast opportunities precast offers to the design community.
2020 PCI Convention
Fort Forth, TX was the location for the 2020 Annual PCI Convention. A crowd of over 1154 attendees gathered from March 3rd through March 7th at the Fort Worth Convention Center to share thoughts and ideas. The annual convention was hosted in conjunction with the Precast Show which kept everyone hopping with vendor displays, committee meetings, luncheons, awards and so much more.
Learn@Lunch - Go Virtual!
PCI Gulf South offers a variety of ways to reach the existing design community.
The Learn@Lunch program was developed to allow professionals the opportunity to learn about precast products and systems.

Mississippi State Student Projects
Mississippi Engineering Society Winter Meeting
The annual meeting of the Mississippi Engineering Society was held on February 27th and 28th at the Jackson Convention Center in Jackson, MS. Always a great show with many MDOT attendees present, PCI Gulf South gave a presentation on the use, types and a few local projects for the NEXT beam.
