Welcome to the February 2021 newsletter...we hope this email finds you doing well and especially healthy in this new year.
Update on inbound shipments: Last month, we received two large shipments at the same time as logistics timing is still quite sporadic. We have heard that the Port of LA has over 30 shipping vessels parked and waiting to unload as over 700 employees are on Covid related leave. In addition, the rail car shortage continues to slow down transit times as the railways have allocated cars to different parts of North America during the pandemic. Thankfully, we've been able to maintain shipments of new products within our estimated shipping timeline. We're hoping this continues.
Our next shipment is scheduled to arrive at the end of this month...2+ weeks late, containing the FDNY Mack MR Satellites, Mack B-61 tractors and Baltimore-Washington Strikers.
This February, we continue to enjoy our "slow time" of the year as our factory takes leave for the CNY holiday break. We have two new releases this month including Oshkosh 6x6 Strikers for Chicago O'Hare and Midway, as well as the "Outstanding" FDNY 2006 Pierce Rescue 1.
