Driving accessibility forward

Thank you to everyone who completed Durham Region Transit’s 2026–2030 Accessibility Plan survey. Your feedback is helping to shape a more inclusive transit system in Durham Region.

Durham Region Transit (DRT) is now entering the consultation phase, with opportunities for community members to share input and help shape a vision for accessibility across DRT’s services and infrastructure.

Visit an in-person consultation:

  • The Shops at Pickering Town Centre - Thursday, April 16, from 6 to 8 p.m.
  • Latcham Centre - Monday, April 20, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Brock Community Health Centre - Wednesday, April 22, from 1 to 3:30 p.m.

.

Format: five-to-10-minute pop-up consultations, with light refreshments provided. Registration is not required.

These consultations will build on the survey results and inform the development of DRT’s 2026–2030 Accessibility Plan.
