This week feels extra special because it’s all about love in its brightest, most joyful forms — the love we share with the friends who make us laugh until our sides hurt, the family who fill our days with warmth, and the precious loved ones who still light up our hearts even though they’re no longer by our side. Every smile, every memory, every hug we give or receive is a celebration of how deeply we are connected. So let’s fill this week with extra kindness, extra gratitude, and extra sparkle — because love, in every shape it takes, is what keeps us glowing, growing, and dancing through life together. Here’s to a week overflowing with heart and happiness — you are so loved!

LOCATION: Miromar Clubhouse
CHECK-IN: 11:30 AM
LUNCH SERVED: 12:00 Noon
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Friday, February 20
| |
Mark your calendars—this March luncheon is going to be one of our most talked-about events yet! We're thrilled to welcome back the incredible Mikki Williams for her fun, insightful session on You’ve Got Personality!
| | |
Ever wonder why one person needs a plan while another just needs a nap... or why someone always has to be right? 😄 This hilarious, heartwarming talk is your ultimate survival guide to understanding personality styles—bringing way more grace, fewer stresses, and tons of laughs to relationships!
With so many of our amazing members buzzing about this one and limited seating in the cozy Clubhouse dining room, we're keeping it fair and fabulous for everyone. To ensure as many members as possible can experience this gem, we're limiting non-member guests to one per member registration this month.
(As always, guests are welcome space permitting—if more than one guest is requested, additional guests will be placed on a guest waitlist to keep things balanced and give everyone a fair shot.)
Spots will fill up fast for this powerhouse speaker and topic—register early to lock in your seat! Who's ready for better connections and big "aha" moments this March? We can't wait to see you there!

Pet Peace of Mind - Hope Healthcare
For many of us, our pets are family. They provide unconditional love when we need it most. However, for many hospice patients facing serious illness, the simple acts of caring for a dog or cat, buying food, getting to the vet, or even filling a water bowl—can become physically or financially impossible. Sadly, many patients worry they will have to give up their beloved companions right when they need them the most.
| | |
Pet Peace of Mind changes that story.
Working locally through Hope Healthcare SW Florida, this program ensures that patients and their pets can remain together throughout their end-of-life journey.
Pet Peace of Mind program provides trained volunteers to help with daily pet care, covers veterinary and food costs, and even arranges for new loving homes if a pet is left orphaned.
Your generous support for this March Charity will help provide:
-
In-Home Support: Volunteers to help with feeding, walking and care
-
Financial Aid: Covering the cost of pet food and veterinary visits
-
Peace of Mind: Arranging loving new homes for pets if they are left orphaned
Community support and donations make this program possible.
Thank you for helping us preserve this bond and give these patients the gift of comfort and companionship.

TECH TIP: Create a Super-Safe Password You Can Actually Remember
Strong passwords keep your email, banking, and photos safe from hackers — and you don’t need to remember crazy strings of numbers and symbols!
Try this easy method:
Pick a phrase you love, like “I love dancing at Miromar every Saturday!”
Take the first letter of each word + a number + a special character:
→ Ild@MMeS2025!
It’s long (very secure), but still meaningful to you.
Use a different phrase for each important account (like one for email, one for banking).
Write your hints (not the full password!) in a little notebook you keep at home — never in your phone or computer.
You’ll feel much safer knowing your accounts are well protected!

Put a Face to the Heart!
Help us make the Hearts of Miromar Member Directory even more friendly and connected by sharing a current photo of yourself. Seeing familiar faces makes it easier to recognize one another, spark conversations, and strengthen the friendships that make our community so special.
Whether it’s a polished headshot or a recent snapshot that truly feels like you, we’d love to include it!
At the moment, photos can’t be uploaded directly to the website—so just email your photo to kimberly.huffman1966@gmail.com, and I’ll handle the rest. Quick, easy, and done!
A smiling face makes our directory warmer, more personal, and more “Hearts.” Thank you for helping bring our community to life 💕✨

New Club Idea: Let’s Try Bunco Together!
Who’s ready for an evening of pure, no-stress fun? We’re testing the waters for a brand-new Hearts Bunco Club — and we’d love for you to be part of the very first roll!
Bunco is the easiest, most laugh-out-loud social dice game ever:
- No skill required — it’s 100% luck and giggles
- Roll three dice, match the number of the round, shout “Bunco!” for big points
- Switch tables every round so you get to chat and connect with lots of different friends
- Think lighthearted chaos, silly cheers, and zero pressure
Cindy McDonald is hosting a casual “try-it-out” night to see how much interest we have — if enough of us love it, we’ll launch a regular group!
Come see what all the fun is about:
Date: Wednesday, February 18
Time: 6:30 PM
Where: TBD (we’ll choose a cozy spot based on responses)
Please RSVP to Cindy by Sunday, February 15 so she can plan tables of 4 and pick the perfect venue.
