First Serve & CARE Present Free Theater Performance Aug. 29
CARE (Christian Allies for Racial Equity), in partnership with First Serve, is pleased to sponsor a free theater performance on August 29 at 7 pm.
A play presented in three acts, To My White Friends Who Know Me is brought to organizations, universities, and communities by Getting To We, Inc; an organization led by Dr. Deborah Plummer and committed to creatively embrace the tensions that result from managing the dynamics of human differences. To My White Friends Who Know Me takes apart theories of those differences in practical terms, leaving audiences with information and inspiration…achieving racial equity one friend at a time.
Because CARE and First Serve would like as many people as possible to hear the important message of this performance, the committee is offering tickets for free via Eventbrite. If you are able and willing, however, to help offset our costs, we are gratefully accepting donations when you reserve a ticket. If you cannot attend the performance but would still like to support the event, you can make a donation here.
