Several special days  are happening the weekend following Labor Day. One is for kids and the other is for family elders. Check H&H social media for activity ideas.

National Kids Take Over the Kitchen Day is celebrated every year on September 13. It’s a special day for children and adolescents to participate in cooking alongside their parents or guardians. Not only does it provide quality time for parents and kids, but it also gives them the perfect chance to learn one of the most essential life skills — cooking!

National Kids Take Over the Kitchen Day was introduced to the world by the “Young Chefs Academy,” a cooking school franchise located in Texas. The academy offers children from ages four to 18 culinary classes, mini-camps, and birthday parties with the goal to empower them with culinary skills.

National Grandparents Day always falls on the Sunday following Labor Day, National Grandparents Day honors the love only grandparents can provide. 

Grandparents and their grandchildren share a special bond. These hugging, caring and patient people in the lives of children offer more than a generous dose of love. Grandparents provide an abundance of wisdom. They also offer guidance and stability.

All 45 hour classes are on an accelerated schedule this month. An accelerated schedule allows you to earn your certificate by the end of the month.

If anyone needs the 90 hour certification for School Age, the accelerated schedule will allow you to earn your certificates by the end of the month. NOTE: 90 Hours = 45 Hour School Age Methods and Materials + 45 Hour Growth and Development.

• Class time - 6:45pm to 9:45pm

• Session 02
• SAT& SUN - 09/10 thru 09/24
• Class time - 9:00am to 4:30pm

• Class time 9:00am to 4:30pm

45 Hour Infant/Toddler Methods and Materials

• Saturdays & Sundays - 09/10 thru 09/24
• Class time 9:00am to 4:30pm

45 Hour Growth and Development

• SAT & SUN - 09/10 thru 09/24
• Class time 9:00am to 4:30pm
