What brings a couple of middle-aged heterosexual swingers, their gay son, his new husband,
a transwoman, and her closeted boyfriend all together one unforgettable night?
Dear Theatre Lovers, Supporters, and Friends:
Carpe Noctem! (Seize the Night!) has been nominated for three New York Theatre Festival Winterfest 2025/26 Awards!!!
Thank you to our donors and to our co-producers, director, stage manager, designers, cast, and crew for making Carpe Noctem! a success! One audience member said, "This is the best show I've seen this year!" Another said, "Funny yet sophisticated." And another said, "Well-written and well-constructed." We had laugh-out-loud and cry-out-loud audiences in equal measure, and our final show was sold out! Not bad for a black woman playwright over 50 who is neither gay, trans, nor a swinger!
Fingers and toes are crossed!
In joyful expectation,
Twinbiz Productions
