NEWS ON THE NEW SCULLING BUILDING ROOF:
Over the past several weeks, the roof of the sculling building has been successfully replaced. This was a significant project, and we owe its success to the combined efforts of many individuals.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make room in the main building and assisted with moving boats. Special recognition goes to Michael Costanzo, Florin Filipescu, Bob Gannon, Heidi Lamb, Aaron Marcovy, Greg Pacholski, John Pacholski, Bill Rickman, and Nate Shoemaker, who dedicated several weekends to this project. We also want to acknowledge the incredible support from Saint Ignatius rowers Alex Gillespie, Evan Vroutos, Jack Farrell, Leo Amendola, and Harry Fuehrer. Your hard work and teamwork were invaluable. We also extend our gratitude to Terry Holiday and Michelle Fox for generously providing lunch to the crew.
Your collective efforts saved the organization nearly $30,000, helping us keep membership dues more affordable for everyone.
Greg Pacholski captured the project in a series of time-lapse videos, condensing 11 hours of work into just a few minutes. You can view them here:
Private scullers can begin moving their boats back into the sculling building starting Friday, January 3rd. CRF Buildings and Grounds will send a separate email with scheduled times when additional assistance will be available.
Thank you all for your support and dedication to this project.
